Theft from Motor Vehicle in the area of Horndean

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Vehicle Crime - theft from / theft of, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

Sometime between 02:00 - 02:35am on the 8th August unknown person(s) have gained access to a vehicle in Frogmore Lane, Horndean. A messy search search was carried out but on this occasion no further items were stolen. Suspect was described as wearing a mask and carrying a torch trying car door handles.

Two further reports of theft from vehicles sometime early hours of the morning on the same night reported to police.

The second report occurred in Alder Grove, Horndean whereby an unknown person has gained access to a vehicle and personal items stolen from within. Suspect was described as wearing a face mask and glove using a torch.

The third report occurred in Yoells Lane, Horndean. Unknown person(s) have gained access to a vehicle and stolen items from within.
